Search entries
When you type a name, location, or other term into a search tool, that entry is sent to the independent provider that operates the tool. Washington County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you email us or submit a contact message, we keep the information needed to respond. We do not share that message outside our organization unless a legal requirement requires disclosure.
Technical Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the site and its service providers may receive routine technical information when a page is loaded, including:

Links and Partner Services
This site links to WCSO resources, the Washington County Detention Center's custody path, booking routes, court and corrections pages, government portals, and independent search tools. Once you follow a link, that destination's privacy practices control the information it receives. Some advertising partners may track activity across websites through their own systems for interest-based advertising.
Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503 concerns access to qualifying government records. It does not make this private site a government records custodian or turn a third-party search entry into a Washington County public-records request.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be received by or disclosed to the following parties when needed for the stated purpose or required by law:

Requests about information held by this site can be submitted through the Contacts page. Requests for an official Washington County record must go to its government custodian.

We may revise this Privacy Notice as the site or its services change. A revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
